Shrine Guilds of America Overview
Shrine Guilds of America is a ladies organization who provides independent support and aid to Shriners Children's® and concentrates on the education of children during their stay at Shriners Hospitals. Organized in 1947, there are approximately 14 guilds today, mostly in Florida and Indiana. Members are wives or widows of Shriners. The leader of the Imperial Council of Shrine Guilds of America is called the Imperial Maharanee.

3. Purpose:

The not-for-profit guild is a ladies’ organization whose objective is the independent support and aid to the Shriners Children's.
4. Activities:

The Guild primarily supports education while children are hospitalized, but Due to the convenience of the Internet for keeping up with studies, the Guild has shifted its focus to burn patients, helping them keep up with their school work. The Guild pays for an in-house tutor for the patient and all needed school supplies.
