SHRINERS

The First Ceremonial Master is primarily responsible for the preparation of the Shrine Center for all Stated Meetings and Ladies/Family Nights; attend all possible Divan meetings; and attend Shrine functions whenever possible.  He should also aspire to future service on the Elected Divan.

The Second Ceremonial Master assists the First Ceremonial Master in his duties; attend all possible Divan meetings; ensures a proper meal is prepared for all Stated Meetings and Ladies/Family Nights; and attends Shrine functions whenever possible.  He should also aspire to  Divan.

The Captain of the Guard shall assist the Ceremonial Masters in their duties; serve as the Inner Guard for all tiled Meetings; maintain primary responsibility for the operation, security, and attend Shrine functions whenever possible.

The Outer Guard assists the Ceremonial Masters and Captain of the Guard in their duties; Guard the Outer Door for all tiled Meetings; ensures the cleaning and breakdown following all Stated Meetings and Ladies/Family Nights; and attends Shrine functions whenever possible.

The Marshal shall serve as Master of Ceremonies for all Shrine functions, recognizing Imperial Officers, Past Potentates, and other dignitaries, ensuring proper adherence to Shrine Protocol.

The Chaplain shall serve as the spiritual guide to the Shrine Center and Nobility, acting as the invocations and pronouncing the benediction at Shrine functions, as well as being a resource to Nobles and their families who are faced with sickness or distress, or who have been visited by the Black Camel (the loss of a member).
