Join the Cabiri of Past Potentates. The Cabiri is an International Past Potentate Association. The Cabiri helps promote good fellowship among Past Potentates and stimulates an active interest in all Shrine activities and Shriners Children's. Cabiri of Past Potentates A Past Potentate is a former leader of a Shrine Chapter, who has completed their term of office. The title is an honorific designation that recognizes their service and contributions to the organization. Cabiri is an International Past Potentate Association. The Cabiri helps promote good fellowship among Past Potentates and stimulates an active interest in all Shrine activities and the Shriners Children's. They help establish headquarters at all Imperial Council Sessions, Shrine Director Sessions, and Regional Sessions, where Past Potentates may assemble. Join the Daughters of the Nile we would love to have you. Shriners’ ladies enjoy the Shrine through several independent organizations that women who are related to a Shriner are eligible to join. They include: Daughters of the Nile (DON) The Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America The Shrine Guilds of America Who are the Daughters of the Nile? Daughters of the Nile Overview The Daughters of the Nile is an international fraternal organization specifically for women who meet certain eligibility criteria. Here are the key points about the organization: 1. Eligibility: Women must be 18 years of age or older. They must have a relationship by birth or marriage to: A Shriner (a member of the Shriners International). A Master Mason (a member of the Freemasons). Another Daughter of the Nile. 2. Alternatively, they may be: A majority member in good standing of a Masonic-related organization for girls. A former patient at a Shriners Children’s™ (with or without a Masonic relationship). 3. Purpose: The organization focuses on charity, community service, and sisterhood among its members. 4. Activities: Members engage in various charitable activities, social events, and community service projects, often supporting Shriners Hospitals for Children.
