WHAT IS THE $100 MILLION DOLLAR CLUB?

Shriners Childrens® is an international philanthropy dedicated to treating children with orthopedic problems and burn injuries. The mission is carried out without regard to race, color, creed, sex, sect, disability, national origin, or the ability of a patient or family to pay.

Since the founding of Shriners Hospitals for Children® in 1922, about $12 billion has been spent to provide quality and compassionate medical care to nearly a million children with orthopedic problems, severe burn injuries, or spinal cord injuries. Most of these services are paid for by the Shriners Children’s® endowment fund.

Without this fund, Shriners Children’s® would not be able to ensure optimum and compassionate patient care. In order to meet the needs of thousands of children in need of the expert care we provide, the endowment fund must continue to grow during these times of increasing costs of medical care.

Since approximately 90 percent of the annual Shriners Children’s® operating budget will be spent in direct support of our kids, your gift to its endowment fund is a gift to one of the world’s “purest” philanthropies.

The $100 Million Dollar Club represents our effort to have one million Shriners contribute $100 to our Shriners Children’s® philanthropy, creating a $100 million dollar endowment.

Ways To Join

There are three ways to become a member of the 100 Million Dollar Club:

• By contributing $100 or more to Shriners Children’s®;
• By having your will include a bequest of $100 or more to Shriners Children’s®; or
• By adding a provision to an existing will leaving $100 or more to Shriners Children’s®.

Each donor receives a handsome 100 Million Dollar Club certificate.  By contributing $100, you can feel like a million, knowing that you have helped to ensure that Shriners Children’s® will be able to continue helping children in the years to come.

Who Can Join

Non-Mason or Mason, Non-Shriner or Shriner, men, women, or you can even donate in honor of a loved one who is deceased. You will receive a certificate acknowledging your gift, and you are entitled to wear the $100 Million Dollar Club fez pin.
